Sri Kumaran Jewellery was founded by Mr. S. Boobalan, a man deeply rooted in the traditional art of goldsmithing. Coming from a family where gold craftsmanship was a hereditary profession, he began practicing the art of goldsmith work as early as 1975. With more than 25 years of hands-on experience as a skilled goldsmith, Mr. Boobalan laid a strong foundation built on craftsmanship, integrity, and trust.

In the early 2000s, his long-standing passion and expertise led to the establishment of Sri Kumaran Jewellery. His vision was to offer customers renowned designs in gold and silver jewellery, crafted with superior quality and precision. Along with excellence in design, he strongly believed in maintaining long-term customer relationships, earned through honesty, personal attention, and exceptional selling skills. The legacy did not end with him. It entered a new phase with the involvement of his son, Mr. B. Gnanaprakasam, who grew up closely observing the jewellery business from childhood. This early exposure developed a deep interest and understanding of the trade. After completing his Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, he chose to join and strengthen the family business with fresh ideas and a modern outlook.

Mr. Gnanaprakasam is known for his sense of responsibility, accountability, and dedication to maintaining the trust built by his father. His vision, determination, and hardworking nature continue to elevate Sri Kumaran Jewellery to greater heights while preserving its traditional values. Under his leadership, the business continues to evolve, blending heritage craftsmanship with contemporary customer expectations.
